Pastor Tim & Ingrid Vander Stel

Pastor Tim remembers knowing he would become a preacher as early as five years old: he would regularly return from church and stand on the furniture, delivering sermons to his family.

Tim and Ingrid met at Baptist College (now Cornerstone University) in Grand Rapids Michigan, where they both studied music. Shortly after they wed, the Vander Stels moved to Florida to serve in youth ministry. The Vander Stels would eventually arrive in Pennsylvania, where Tim spent 18 years as Pastor of Family Ministries with First Baptist Church of Perkasie, until the Lord made plans for a new church in Quakertown.

The Vander Stels have seven children, including two in college, two in high school, and one in middle school.
